Keno Hill
Tomorrow is a big deal day here with about 30 stockbroker analysts flying/driving up from Vancouver just for the day. Company directors and all.
The powerpoints are made and the displays are up and the core laid out.
Everyone will be very happy to see the end of tomorrow.
I have had a little foray out into the bushes, saw spring lupins and bear diggings. One of the girls on the geophysical survey crew has reported being stalked by a cougar ! Apparently they don't normally live this far north but are following deer as the nether reaches succomb to global warming. Seems a little strange when you walk on permafrost.
Today it was in the low 30's but I still managed to get my truck stuck on an ice bank and had to be pulled out. No harm done.

Must be time for a break !! - more on that later.
Meanwhile I have a new window in my office so no more can it be said that I work in a dark hole. And it comes with fresh air as well.
I will write again before i go on break on Friday.
